Last Sunday, I started a series of messages from Paul’s letter to the Ephesians concerning God’s Call to each of us.  The focus of these messages is not on our profession but rather on how we as Christians should live.

Inspiration for these messages comes from Scripture (Ezekiel 33:10) and from Paul’s letter to the Ephesians (Ephesians, Chapters 4 and 5), the events and circumstances in which we are now living, and from Francis A. Schaeffer’s classic book of 1976, “How Should We Then Live?”.

I encourage you to read the entire chapter of Ezekiel and meditate upon this powerful message. Meditate also on what Paul says to the Church at Ephesus.

Last Sunday’s message was entitled “The Call to Walk Worthily”. Over the next few Sunday’s we will be looking at the following subjects:

October 15 – The Call to Walk Differently

October 22 – The Call to Walk in Love

October 29 – The Call to Walk in the Light

November 5 – The Call to Walk Carefully

Pray with me as we present these truths from God’s Word.  Make Sunday Worship and Bible Study a priority in your life. And, by all means, actively reach out to people with whom you have contact each week.  Invite them to join you in worship at Crabtree Valley Baptist Church.  Offer to give them a ride if needed.  And when they come, make sure that they feel welcome.

In His Love,

Charles
