Crabtree Valley Baptist Church will be featured at the Raleigh Baptist Associational Semi-Annual Meeting at Rolesville Baptist Church on Tuesday evening, October 24, at 6:45pm.  Dinner will be served at 6:00pm at a cost of $10.

Missions will high-lite the evening program.  Wakefield Central will share stories of their mission trip to Budapest.  Piney Grove Baptist Church will share experiences at the Good Shepherd Children’s Home in Guatemala. Roger Nix, Director of the RBA has asked me to share the story of how Welcome House Raleigh came into being.  Our story is getting around and yet there are many who have yet to hear what God is doing at CVBC.  Hopefully, we will have a good representation from our church.  If you will let us know by noon, on Thursday, October 19, we will get you registered for the meeting.  It would be nice to have a good CVBC representation. We can carpool to the meeting leaving from the church by 5pm.

“Word of Mouth” is the best advertising ever.  Will you spread the word about the Benefit Concert that will be held at Crabtree Valley Baptist Church on Sunday afternoon, October 29, at 3pm.  We are indebted to our Music Director, Risa Poniros, for arranging this wonderful event featuring the Three Triangle Tenors: George Deaton, Wade Henderson and Timothy Sparks accompanied by Catherine Hamner, Pianist. A love offering will be taken for Hurricane Matthew Victims in North Carolina. The entire offering will be given to Baptist Men for Disaster Relief to our North Carolina neighbors who lost so much in the terrible hurricane that ripped through our State a year ago. Spread the word and plan to attend this significant event.

The concert on October 29, is the first in what we hope will be a series of concerts each year.  Plans are already in the making for a second concert to be held before the end of 2017.  Pray for Risa as she uses her musical gifts and contacts with talented people to provide beautiful programs that hopefully will attract new members to CVBC.

In His love,

Charles
