Life is a Journey!

The parents of today’s seniors grew up in the days of silent films when one of the famous actors was Charlie Chaplin. Chaplin was an English comic actor, filmmaker and composer known around the world. He was considered one of the most important figures in the history of the film industry. Chaplin grew up in hard times with a mentally ill mother and an alcoholic father. His success is a remarkable story of strong will, determination and hard work. Of his childhood he said, “I was hardly aware of a crisis because we lived in a continual crisis; and being a boy, I dismissed our troubles with gracious forgetfulness. Out of tough times, he developed a philosophy of survival consisting of 4 statements:

  1. Nothing is forever in this world, even our problems
  2. I love to walk in the rain because no one can see my tears.
  3. The most lost day in life is the day we don’t laugh.
  4. Six of the best doctors in the world are sun, rest, exercise, diet, self-respect and friends.

Keep them in all stages of your life and enjoy a healthy life. If you see the moon, you will see the beauty of God.

If you see the sun, you will see the power of God. If you see a mirror, you will see God’s best creation. So believe it.

We are all tourist, God is our travel agent who has already defined our routes, bookings and directions. Trust Him and enjoy life. Life is a journey! So live today! Tomorrow may not be.

Ponder these thoughts and remember Ephesians 5:16, “Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.” (NLT)

In His Love,

Charles
