Independence day is a day set aside to celebrate the country’s freedom. A day to give thanks for the freedoms we have as citizens of the United States and also freedoms we have as Christians. However, just because we enjoy freedoms, it doesn’t mean we are independent from God. We are daily in need of God’s help and presence in our lives. We face struggles and trials that show how much we need God. In our message for today, our pastor shares three reminders of our ‘dependence’ on God from Philippians
4:14-20.
