Summary

Worship service featuring the sermon “Facing the Giant of Decision Making” given by Interim Pastor Rev. Johnny Richards; including scriptures from 2 Samuel 2:1-7; and music performed by music director Risa Poniros, pianist Cheryl Walker, and the choir.

Most decisions we have to make are made without any hesitation. Brushing our teeth, getting a shower, eating a meal. These are done just out of habit or routine. However, there are other decisions we make that take time and thought. We have to make sure we are making the best decision for us and our families. In today’s message, our pastor concludes his sermon series “Facing the Giants in Our Lives” by focusing on the giant of decision making. David had a decision he needed to make after the death of Saul and Jonathan. How did he do it? Today’s message will help us see how David made this decision, and how we can make decisions in our lives.

Points to remember:

  1. Seek the will of God
  2. Read His word
  3. Find comfort in the family
  4. Follow our heart
