It’s nice to be able to impress people with what we can do. Whether it is a sporting event, or our knowledge of trivia, or using our strength to carry something. We all like for people to be impressed by what we can do. When it comes to living the Christian life, especially in praying, God doesn’t want to try to impress Him. Instead, He wants us to talk to Him from our hearts. In our message for today, our pastor shares about Jesus teaching that prayer is more than just beautiful words. Prayer is about a conversation from the heart.
Points to remember:
- Our main purpose in praying should not be for others to see us praying
- We need to pray from our hearts
- God already knows what we need
