Summary

Worship service featuring the sermon “How Do I Keep Real In a Phony World?” given by Interim Pastor Rev. Johnny Richards; including scriptures from Luke 11:37-54; and music performed by music director Risa Poniros and pianist Cheryl Walker.

In this world, there are times when things seem to be phony, fake. We hear people
talking about people, we see how people treat other people and we wonder if we can be
a real Christian. If so, how can we be sure we are being a real Christian? In this
message, our pastor talks about a time in Jesus’ life when he went to eat at the home of
a Pharisee. Jesus used this time to share with the Pharisee, and with us as well, how
we can make sure we are being real when it comes to following Christ.

Points to Ponder:

1. We will be as clean on the inside as we are on the outside
2. We will stop majoring on the minor things of life
3. We will use the title of Christian to glorify God, not us
