Summary

Worship service featuring the sermon “The Church at Ephesus” given by Interim Pastor Rev. Johnny Richards; including scriptures from Revelation 2:1-7; and music performed by music director Risa Poniros, and pianist Cheryl Walker.

All of us like hearing we are doing a good job. No matter what it is we are working on, or who we are working for, we all like to know we are doing good. There are times, however, when we need to be told about something we need to work on to do better. It is called “constructive criticism.” The churches in Revelation were no different. In today’s message, our pastor begins a four week study on four of the seven churches mentioned in Revelation. Each church was doing some good things, but each church had  something God needed them to work on. This morning, our pastor looks at the Church of Ephesus.

Points to Remember:

  1. Commendation: The Good Deeds
  2. Constructive Criticism: They Had Lost Their Love
  3. Challenge: Get Back to Loving God
