Jean Hatch and Jackson Glover gave us a concert of praise and adoration in an exceptional way using their gift of music to stir our soul and give us cause for praise and thanksgiving to God.
Their inspirational presentation was well balanced with just the right amount of beautiful selections, solos and duets at the piano and organ/piano united. They played some extremely complicated music with such grace they made it look easy. They gave God the best they had to offer and the enthusiastic audience that gathered to hear them was blessed and delighted.
Their choice of music included such classics at Beethoven’s “Joyful, Joyful” to Jean’s favorite “My Tribute” by Andrae’ Crouch followed by a piano and organ duet, “My Jesus, I Love Thee,” “Be Thou My Vision,” and “Amazing Grace.” Jackson Glover did a magnificent Piano Solo of “Jesus Loves Me,” followed by another piano/organ duet “Lord, Here Am I.” They concluded the concert with a piano duet of “Praise Him! Praise Him!,” and “This Little Light of Mine” to a standing ovation. Jean and Jackson finished their concert with a rousing encore entitled “CS Theme & Variation” better known as “Chop Sticks”
Our outside banner advertising the concert said it all “TO GOD BE THE GLORY”.
